Photo details
The story behind every frame
Open any photograph to see where it is used and the technical details it arrived with. Its dimensions, file size, capture time, camera, lens, focal length, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO stay attached to the photo. This view is for you in the Library; gallery visitors never see it.

Deletion
Nothing leaves a live gallery by surprise
Because one photograph can be in several galleries, deleting it is worth a moment's warning. The Library names the galleries it would leave, says so when it is a gallery's cover, and stops to ask again if its usage changed while you were deciding.

Does a photo in several galleries use more storage?
No. A photograph is stored once however many galleries show it, and it counts once against your plan.
Can I add photos to a gallery without uploading them again?
Yes. Choose them in the Library and add them to any gallery, or to one of that gallery's sections.
What happens if I delete a photo a gallery is using?
The Library names the galleries that use it before anything is removed, and warns you when the photograph is a gallery's cover.
