Organize and Design, two modes for every gallery

The gallery editor now has two modes. Organize is where you work with your photos, sections, and uploads. Design shows the gallery as your clients will see it, in a desktop or phone preview, with the design settings beside it. On a phone, the settings slide up from the bottom of the screen.

A clearer way to share

Share now opens with Protection: who can open the gallery, its password, and your watermark. Then you send it by email or copy the link from the same place. Below that, what your clients can do is spelled out in plain sentences, with the download sizes they get shown at a glance and favorites for proofing.

Access and passwords from the header

Who can open a gallery is now set from the editor's header. Choosing a password opens a field right there, so you can change access without leaving the photos you're working on.

Your edits save as you go

The gallery editor saves your changes automatically, so there's no Save button to remember. If something can't be saved, Glassline tells you once, and it warns you before you leave with changes still pending.

Date ranges for multi-day events

Weddings, festivals, and conferences often span more than one day, and your gallery can now say so. Click the first day of the event, then the last, and the range shows up in the editor, on your shared gallery, and in client gallery lists, reading naturally as "April 5 – 7, 2026". Click the same day twice for a one-day event.

Limit how many photos a client accepts

You can now cap how many photos each client accepts in proofing, for when you've agreed on a set number of edits. Turn on the limit in the gallery's proofing settings and clients see a running count as they choose, with no way to go past it. You can also see each client's progress toward the limit. It is unlimited by default, and lowering it later keeps the choices clients have already made.

Resize photos in your gallery layout

Drag a corner of any photo to make it span more columns, in both column and row layouts. Photos keep their proportions and their order. A live preview shows where each photo will land before you let go, and your shared gallery shows the same arrangement you saved in the editor.

More ways to frame your photos

Choose a square grid alongside the existing column and row layouts. Add a narrow or wide white mat around every photo, and choose square, subtly rounded, or rounded corners. These gallery-wide choices carry through from the design preview to the shared gallery and its photo viewer.

Organize several galleries at once

Select multiple galleries to move them into a folder or delete them together. Use Shift-click to select a range, drag a selected group into a folder, and press Escape to clear your selection.

Improvements and fixes

This release also includes performance and stability improvements.

Send gallery visitors to your website

You can now choose where your name links at the end of every shared gallery. Keep sending visitors to your Glassline portfolio, or direct them to your own website instead. The choice also updates galleries you have already shared.

New photo Library

Every photo you upload now has a home in Library, even when it is not currently in a gallery. Browse your complete collection, open a photo to review its details, and add the same photo to more than one gallery without uploading or storing another copy.

New photo filters

Search and combine filters for galleries, cameras, lenses, focal lengths, and capture dates. You can also find photos that are not in any gallery, adjust the grid size, and select several results at once to add or delete them. The gallery organizer now includes the same photo filters alongside client proofing filters.

Customize gallery visuals with new controls

New presentation controls let you choose a column or row layout, set the thumbnail size, and tune the spacing between photos. The editor preview follows your choices across screen sizes, so you can refine the rhythm of a gallery before sharing it.

Gallery limit notifications

If an account exceeds its gallery allowance, Glassline now explains what happened and how to restore visitor access. You can still open and manage your work, then delete galleries or upgrade your plan to make gallery links and portfolio pages available again.

Meet your new photography CRM

The new client workspace keeps contacts, private notes, and galleries connected. Create a client with just a name, add the people and details you need, then link existing galleries or start a new gallery from the client record. Search makes clients easy to find, while archiving keeps finished relationships out of the way without losing their history.

Share galleries with saved contacts

Link clients to a gallery from the gallery editor and their saved email addresses are ready when you share it. You can review the named recipients, remove anyone who should not receive that delivery, or add another address before sending.

Reposition gallery covers with precision

You can now drag a gallery cover directly on the desktop and phone previews to choose the crop that looks best. Arrow-key controls make fine adjustments easy, and the position carries through to the gallery's public previews.

Keep context with your gallery folders

Folders can now include private descriptions that save automatically as you work. Keep shoot details, delivery notes, or planning context alongside the galleries they organize.

Open the changelog from your account menu

The latest product updates are now one click away from the account menu, so you can catch up without leaving the app.

Email support for gallery sharing

You can now share a gallery by email and see whether each invitation was delivered, opened, clicked, or used to view the gallery. Delivery history is tracked per recipient, so you can follow up with the right client and retry a failed invitation without resending to everyone.

Share galleries from one dedicated workspace

The gallery editor now has clear Upload, Organize, Design, Proof, and Share modes. From Share, you can copy the public link or send a branded invitation to one or more clients with an optional personal message. Share now has its own focused delivery workspace, with the gallery link, recipients, access summary, and send results together in one place.

A smoother gallery workflow

Completed photos can now be opened full screen directly from Design or Organize mode without changing your selection. The editor follows the visible gallery order as you move between photos, warns when downloads or proofing are enabled on an unpublished gallery, and reports custom sorting accurately. Deleted galleries also stay deleted, even when an older list refresh finishes late.

Better details across mobile, support, and onboarding

Download pages now keep their photo previews comfortably on screen on phones, and portrait photos from iPhone keep the correct orientation after processing. The mobile site navigation has clearer destinations and larger touch targets. New photographers receive a short personal welcome after signup, and contact form submissions now send the sender a copy for their records.

Better downloads for you and your clients

Downloads got a significant upgrade. You now decide which formats each gallery offers, choosing from social, web, WebP, high resolution, and untouched originals. When clients select multiple photos, they pick the format that suits them before downloading, and a single photo still arrives instantly. Learn more on the gallery downloads page.

Custom domains recover from outages

Galleries served on a custom domain no longer get stuck when domain resolution temporarily fails. The page recovers on its own once the domain responds again, and error screens are easier to navigate by keyboard.

Keep galleries organized with folders

Group related galleries into folders directly from your galleries page. Drag galleries into place, rename folders when a project changes, and delete a folder without affecting the galleries inside it.

Turn galleries into slideshows

You can now enable a slideshow for client galleries, including an optional full-screen experience. It gives clients a calmer, more polished way to view a complete set of images.

Stay on top of client proofing

When a client finishes reviewing a proofing gallery, you’ll receive an email notification. You’ll also be notified if they return later to update their selections, so you always know when feedback needs your attention.

Save photos more easily on iPhone

Clients viewing a gallery on iPhone can now save individual images through the native share sheet, making it simpler to add a favourite photo to their library or send it on.

Galleries and portfolio, separated

Client galleries and your public portfolio now have dedicated spaces. Move a gallery between them from its card or editor, keep portfolio work as a private draft while you prepare it, and publish it only when it is ready to appear on your public portfolio.

Remove photo metadata in your browser

Our new free EXIF Metadata Remover strips GPS coordinates, camera details, editing data, and other embedded metadata from JPEG, PNG, and WebP photos. Everything runs on your device with no upload or account required, and you can download cleaned photos individually or together as a zip.

Client proofing

Turn on proofing for any gallery and your client reviews it straight from the shared link, accepting or rejecting each frame with no account, no spreadsheet of filenames, and no long email thread. Multiple people can proof the same set, so couples, families, or a whole team can weigh in, and their picks come back to you sorted and ready to act on.

Gallery organizer

Editing a gallery now has a dedicated organizer with a masonry layout that mirrors how clients see it. You can reorder sections, drag photos between them, drop new uploads straight onto the section you want, and adjust the grid density with a zoom control, all from a cleaner set of controls in the app bar.

Performance improvements

Galleries now use a rebuilt layout engine that keeps large galleries responsive and makes editing feel noticeably smoother, with faster loads, tighter multi-image drag previews, and more accurate placement when you drop photos.

Custom domains

You can now connect your own custom domain to your Glassline site, complete with the legal pages your public site needs. Owner privacy pages include a Glassline disclosure so your site stays transparent to visitors. Get started in your settings.

Favorite galleries

You can now mark your galleries as favorites for quick access to the work you return to most. Favorite galleries appear in a dedicated dashboard section and can be filtered from the Galleries page, keeping important projects close at hand.

A redesigned Glassline experience

Glassline has a cleaner, sharper interface across the landing page, dashboard, galleries, settings, billing, journal, and public pages. The redesign makes the product feel more consistent, easier to scan, and better suited to presenting photography with less visual noise.

More polished client galleries

Shared galleries now have a stronger viewing experience with a full-screen hero, clearer gallery details, improved section navigation, and a branded footer. Section tabs stay easier to use while scrolling, and gallery heroes now make better use of the first screen.

Watermark protection

You can now configure watermark settings for your galleries with a clearer preview, better sizing controls, and more accurate positioning. Glassline also gives clearer feedback when protected assets are being prepared or when downloads may use watermarked images.

A dedicated share route

Galleries can now be shared through a focused client delivery route that works even when a gallery is not shown on your public portfolio. Password-protected galleries keep the same access flow, so private client delivery stays controlled.

Smoother sign-in and onboarding

Sign-in emails now make the code easier to copy, and the changelog banner no longer interrupts onboarding. New users get a calmer path from signup into setup.

A more reliable upload experience

Uploading now feels much more dependable from start to finish. Glassline gives you a dedicated progress panel, remembers interrupted uploads so you can resume them, improves preview handling and progress feedback, and is less likely to let your screen sleep in the middle of a long transfer.

Gallery sections

You can now organize a gallery into named sections, reorder those sections, and move photos between them while editing. Public galleries also show those sections as simple tabs, so clients can jump between parts of a shoot without scrolling through the full gallery at once.

Event dates on galleries

You can now add an event date to each gallery, and it shows up in both the editor and the public gallery view. This makes it easier to organize shoots and helps clients quickly confirm they are in the right gallery.

A more useful dashboard

The dashboard now highlights recent galleries, gives you a clearer breakdown of your library, and adds faster links to your portfolio and settings. It is easier to jump back into your latest work without hunting through the app.

Your portfolio now has a dedicated public page showcasing your galleries.

Download entire galleries as a zip

Clients and visitors can now download all images from a gallery in a single zip file, so no more saving photos one by one.

Right-click actions on gallery images

Right-clicking on a gallery image now opens a context menu with quick actions, giving you faster access to common operations without leaving the gallery view.

Filter galleries by visibility

A new dropdown in your sidebar lets you quickly filter galleries by Public, Private, or Password Protected, so you can find what you're looking for without scrolling through everything.

More storage on the free plan

We've increased the amount of storage on the free plan, giving you more room to upload and share your work before needing to upgrade.

Password-protected gallery previews

When you share a link to a password-protected gallery on social media, it now shows a beautifully blurred preview image along with the gallery name, so recipients know what to expect before entering the password.

Select all photos at once

You can now select all images in a gallery with a single action, making bulk operations like deletion much faster.

Better mobile experience

Gallery grids now display in two columns on mobile for a more comfortable browsing experience, and iOS users will no longer accidentally trigger the system long-press menu when interacting with photos.
